Small Groups/BIBLE STUDY
Small groups usually focused on Bible Studies carry on throughout the year, and are usually held on Wednesdays, though some small groups may hold their studies on different days. The purpose of small groups is to provide an intimate setting to explore God’s Word and to challenge each other in living out our faith. Small groups and Bible studies are important in the life of every Christian and we encourage all to join one. Most small groups meet around 7:30pm at various members’ homes. (Speak to one of the Pastors for current information.) |

Celebrate Recovery - A Christ-Centered Recovery Program for any Hurt, Hang-up, or Habit.
Saddleback Church, the founder of Celebrate Recovery, has the following to say about the program: The purpose of Celebrate recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles.” This experience allows us to “be changed.” By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power – Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.
Good Shepherd Church recognizes that as imperfect people seeking to change, we all need to 'recover' from things - addictions, dependencies, hurts, attitudes - the list goes on. Reverend Bill Glenn has seen how this program works first hand, and we want to make sure that people in our congregation and the surrounding area can benefit from it as well. If you are interested, or would like more information, please contact the church office.
