Rev. Eric Malloy, Pastor
Eric and Rebecca have been married for 47 years and have three married children and seven grandchildren. In addition to serving as Pastor of Good Shepherd Church, Eric also serves as Executive Director of Eastern Gate Discipleship Ministries (Halifax, NS); and National Director Emeritus, Bridges for Peace Canada (Winnipeg, MB). He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies, a M.A. in Judeo-Christian Studies, and is working toward a Doctor of Biblical Studies, with Master’s International University of Divinity, Evansville IN.
Eric has a passion for the strengthening of Good Shepherd Church and the broader body of Christ in the region to be faithful to fulfill Jesus’ commission and commands and the teaching and proclaiming of the Word of God; to proclaim and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ with many receiving forgiveness of sins and coming to saving faith in Him; to experience freedom in Christ and the presence and power of the Holy Spirit’s outpouring of revival, gifts, fillings, sanctification, signs, wonders, healings, and miracles; to prioritize a Biblical, practical lifestyle of discipleship, prayer, praise, worship, and witness; to love and bless Israel and the Jewish people and to remember to pray for and support our persecuted brothers and sisters; and to give greater evidence of John 17 love and unity within and between local churches in these last days before Jesus returns.
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38 ESV
